kinda bummed..

kinda bummed..

So my mom is already planning my shower since it's going to be in the summer when i'm home on LI but i just found out that my cousin (one of the bridesmaids) and her parents booked a trip to europe for 10 days during that exact time and they have known the date of the shower for a long time now. I feel kinda hurt b/c most of my bridal party is OOT and can't make it anyways and i really thought she and my aunt would be there with me. I know showers are no where near as important as the wedding but I can't help feeling a little hurt. I dont want to sound bridezilla or anything but I honestly think if i had a whole summer to plan a vacation and i knew i wanted to be there for something that i would plan around it. Am i being crazy? I'm trying to let it go since it's not worth causing problems over but i'm just sad that maybe only one member of the BP will be there out of 7 girls :(

I'm sorry Sandy. I would be upset too and it's completely understandable why you're upset about this.

Maybe the date you think your shower is really isn't the date of your shower (your family may try to surprise you on a different day). If that was the case, then it is possible that your cousin will be here for your shower.

no you are not being crazy nor a bridezilla!!! You have all the rights in the world to feel upset and even sad...but everything will turn out just fine and you will see how much fun you'll end up having!

Don't worry too much. I'm sure everything will work out in the end. Maybe they just want to psych you out so you'll really be surprised by the shower. Even if not you'll have a great time because the people who love you will be there/

i would get totally bridzilla on all those people! if your in a bridal pty you should make it a point to be at the persons shower.

I was thinking the same thing. They could really be trying to throw you off. They know you already know its this summer maybe they want to try to surpise you with the exact date
