Ok so I am kinda freaking out b/c we just found out that there is a wedding ceremony right before ours... We are getting married at the reception hall. The other wedding starts at 6:30 and ours is scheduled for 7pm. I just don't see how they are gonna have a wedding and get all the people out of there and then be able to switch the flowers over and seat everyone before 7. It just seems like it would be a total rush. And what if the other bride runs even a little bit late?! I am sort of pissed that the reception hall didn't tell us sooner. Now I am considering moving my ceremony to another location. Is this crazy? Am I freaking out for nothing? Should I switch my cerermony? And if so where to? Ugh more stress.

Re: kinda freaking out
Honestly, I would be freaking out too. We got married at the RH and the ceremony including the processional and the recessional took the entire 30 minutes. I would call them and discuss this with the Bqt. Mgr.there. It sounds like someone screwed up and overbooked by accident or if they do this consciously, they shouldn't. There's no way they can guarantee the other ceremony will be finished before yours is set to begin. Not to mention, if your ceremony is set to begin at 7, that means people will show up beforehand and wil expect (rightfully so) to sit down and you know...read the program, listen to the prelude music...... I would get on the horn and tell them they need to figure out a solution for you.

I'm assuming this must be the situation (2 ceremony locations). Guests will probably want to sit down at least 10 minutes before, and everything needs to be set up which I'm assuming will take at least 10 minutes. Also, guests from a prior wedding would probably take 5-10 minutes to get up and out of their seats and move on to the CH. That leaves no time for the other ceremony! Maybe call and ask but try not to freak?

I also would be freaking out as well.. Good thing for me (when I got married) is that I was the only wedding in the morning time so I am so glad I didn't have to worry over this (it did cross my mind though).
I would express this as a concern to your RH first.... see what they say and if it's unacceptable to you then I would try to switch it or see what they can do to put you more at ease...they have to do something to make it work for you.

Re: kinda freaking out
Apparently there is only one ceremony location there. FH spoke to them yesterday and all they said was, 'Don't worry it will be fine.' That is not enough of a reassurance for me. I also don't want the other couple before me to be rushed. It is not fair to them. I don't even know if they know that there is a ceremony right after theirs. Ugh! We may have to push our ceremony time back. Now I am wondering if the RH screwed up and booked the ceremonies close together accidentally. I feel like maybe they should give me something extra for all this hassle. Maybe I'm dreaming.
