Kinda freaking out... tomorrow is a big day for FH (and me)! Updated

Tomorrow at noon FH gets the results of his residency match. He interviewed at 6 different hospitals and ranked them all, and all of them are in different cities. So in other words... tomorrow we also find out where we're going to live for the next year or so! We'll have to move to wherever this summer after graduation (May 17th) before FH starts his residency (July 1st)... yes and all of this is before the wedding!

He ranked them in order of (cities where the programs are):
Charleston, SC
Augusta, GA
Birmingham, AL
Knoxville, TN
Savannah, GA
Pittsburgh, PA

My stomach is in knots just waiting to find out! Uggh, the anticipation is making me feel sick!

*Update* FH got his first pick! Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston!

I'm so proud of him! And excited to move there!

But now we have to find a place to live and I have to decide who I'm working for... one thing done, 50 more things to do!

I am in a similar boat - FH finds out tomorrow where he matched - I was beyond relieved when we found out on Monday that he matched period! Thankfully he applied to local hospitals so no moving in our future - but his graduation is the weekend after we get back from the HM!

Aww well congratulations to you and your FH that he matched, and I hope he gets one of his top choices!

FH and I both graduate on May 17th, and he starts his residency on July 1st. I've already interviewed with companies and I have offers, I just wasn't able to make a decision yet until I knew where we were going... and now that I actually have to decide I'm totally confused!

my aunt actually finds out her residency match tomorrow (3/20) and her graduation is 5/18. believe it or not my aunt is 50 yrs old she decided very late in life to go to medical school and she's loving every minute of it

Her first pick is SC as well but i'm not sure if it's charleston

Aww that's so exciting, ill be thinking of her! And that's so great that she decided to do that, no one should be afraid to do something because of their age.

Maybe you're thinking about medical residencies, FH is doing a pharmacy residency and they all found out on the 19th.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh, yep that's where I was confused! We're on our way to match day right now!!!! He's nervous as hell b/c we found the perfect apartment in Philly yesterday, and the place he ranked 4th is in Jersey I'm pretty confident he got his second choice if not his first, because the second choice sent him a thank you and told him they'd be ranking him highly... we'll know in a few hours though.

Congrats to you, I'm so glad he got his first choice!!
