Kinda NWR - TMI

So after figuring out that my 'friend' is going to come for a visit day after the wedding I spoke with my gyno she says to just skip the placebo pills- ok so I am trying it this month because she said it may not work. Does this usually work? Do I have to worry about getting pregnant while trying this?

TIA

You shouldnt have to worry about getting pregnant during that time, bc its a constant flow of the bc rather than taking the iron (i think thats what they are) pills as break.

it's fine, i used to do it all the time ... you might have some breakthrough bleeding though

You'll be fine! I had to skip once before--I was so paranoid for nothing, haha.

The times that I have tried it that is exatly what happens to me, but at least is not full blown period.

i've done this twice before. i'm fine for the week i skip that aunt flo is supposed to come but the month after is horrible. i'm planning on getting aunt flo straightened out a couple of months prior to cut down on the excess bloat i experience from skipping.

I've done it before and it was no big deal. usually I don't even take the placebos.

yes, you should use backup protection. ive switched days once before (so now i've timed it so 'it' never comes on a weekend!). when i did it, it took me a few months to get on perfect track again so i'd make the switch up maybe 6 months before to play it safe. i only had spotting for that whole first initial month which was a pain.
