Kinda stupid question: direction cards

If your RH provides direction cards, did you have to make an appointment to pick them up or did you just kinda show up there and tell them you need them?

i just stop by real quick and pick them up. The person in the front desk will give them to you.

just stop by really quick and get them... anyone there can get them for you it doesnt have to be your BM

If you got married at a church, did you provide directions to that as well? Most of my guests already know where the church is so I didnt think it was necessary, but now Im thinking I should. WWYD?

Im making my invites myself so I am trying to cut out some things bc I just dont have enough time to do them. Plus most people have GPS these days or will just Mapquest things so I just dont know if I should waste my time or not.
