I know FH loves me, its not that I doubt it, but sometimes I get frustrated that I say 'I love you' AT LEAST once a day, usually more, and he is just not that in touch with his emotions I guess but sometimes it bugs me!
This question also could have something to do with the fact that FH is playing video games on his xbox and talking to the other players while I wanted to snuggle. Grrrrrr!

FH says it to me a lot throughout the day. He kisses me goodbye in the morning and says it. We text throughout the day and say it.

Have you mentioned this to him? Let him know it bothers you. Also, let you know you need more snuggle time. Quality time with no tv, or computer, or video games!

haha whoever wakes up first sneaks out so we dont wake the dog....you can see where our priorities lie! also when we text and IM during the day its ether wedding logistics or dog logistics....I guess sometimes he automatically says 'bye love you' but not TO me its more routine you know?
ETA: seriously our life revolves around our dog....is that pathetic?
and Jackie you're the sweetest!!! I'm not that upset really just a little peeved....

My FH tells me a few times a day. I do think, however, actions speak louder than words. It's easy to say it, but harder to show it. That's more important to me

But dont worry...some people just dont say it alot. My situation might be overkill. lol

My dad is like that! But he gets shy with saying meaninful words to me and my mom. Maybe its just shyness, not all men are verbal when it comes to that. I'm sure he shows you through his actions!

We don't say it all the time. I was in a relationship once and. My bf said it so much it was like a habit more then anything. When Fh tells me he loves me it feels really special to me. His actions tell me he loves me. Do I wish he said it more? Yes. But he is just the type of person that doesn't say it that often.

I don't think that you should compare FH to others in this category. Some people are way more comfortable expressing emotion than others and some people have different ways of doing it. I knew a guy who said he intentionally DIDN'T say the words 'I love you' too often because he felt it made it lose it's impact and meaning.
If you want to hear it more often, speak up and tell your FH. Maybe he doesn't realize he's not saying it enough to you?

We say it to each other when we leave to work and everytime we get off the phone and when we say goodnight. But I Think that has just become routine. Sometimes he will surprise me and tell me out of the blue.
Like you said, you know he loves you, maybe he is just not as vocal as you would like. Have you tried talking to him about it?
