So, today is kind of a rough day for me.... My grandfather passed away 5 years today and was burried on my birthday...so i never celebrate..because of all the memories...
And knowing that, a friend of mine decided that she wanted to change this week for me..
I got home and got a card from her Monday 'Happy Beginning of your new memories'
then when I got home yesterday, another card saying what a great person I am, etc...
and today, my mother just informed me that a package came from her!!!
Then not even 5 minutes after she told me, (I taught her son last year) her son comes in with a small card saying 'When you get home, you will have a surprise early birthday gift'
I mean, i thought that it was just so kind. For her to actually decide to change my memories of this week into good... meant so much to me...
The kindness of others just...surprises me sometimes

That is soo nice! You just made me smile so big! YOur VERY lucky to have such amazing people in your life to change this week for you! Just think.. she will not erase the pain that you felt BUT she will make you smile everytime you look back on this week in the future! NIce people are the BEST!!

YES! i know. Its almost as though...i cant feel upset today! Knowing that there are people here who are LIVING who care that much about me...just made me feel like i really should let go, just a little bit of the past...

That's so nice! A little kindness can go a long way. You never know what a small gesture is going to mean to someone else. That's wonderful that you have people in your life like that!!
