KINKOS F'ED UP MY DIRECTION CARDS

I am SOOOOOO MAD! My church gave us directions and a map on a 8x11 size paper, so I went to Kinkos to have them made on smaller cards, with the map on one side and the directions on the other. When I put in the order they told me I had to either come back with the words on a disk, or I could email them the wording. I didnt want to go back and forth so I emailed them, through my regular Yahoo email that I use every day. When I went to see the proof, it was still on a large paper, with indications where it would be cut to a smaller card size. I asked the woman to fold it so I could see exactly how big it would be, to make sure it would fit in the envelope. The wording looked a little crooked and when I asked about it, the woman said that was because she had folded it. I SHOULD have known that sounded fishy. When I went to pick up the cards, the wording had a HUGE wave through the top 3 lines. They said that was how my email came up on their computer, and since I had ok'ed the proof, that was how they came out!!
They offered me NO way to fix it, other than to place the whole order AGAIN for a total charge of $50.00 Hell NO!

They were so nasty and so unhelpful. As I left, IN TEARS, the girl said 'Have a good night'

This was just my one experience with one Kinkos, and is probably not representative of every Kinkos everywhere, but Im not going back there!!

are you able to do them yourselves - do you work in an office with a photo copier - that is how i did mine -

i took the large directions and shrunk them down and printed the copies at 25% - i made four copies - cut them out and then taped them to an 8.5 x 11 piece of paper (so i now had 4 on a page) and then made copies of that

i did the same thing to the map - shrunk down - made four copies of the smaller one - taped them to 8.5 and made a copy

so then i had both the directions and the map 4 up on a normal size piece of paper..


i made like 30 copies of the directions page - and then put them in the paper holder - played around with it until when i copied them - the map ended up on the back of teh direction page - and then made a bunch of copies and cut them out

it took a lot of trial and error - but eventually it worked and i ended up with two sided small directions.

STAPLES FIXED EVERYTHING, THEY ARE WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

they messed mine up too! But re-did the for FREE

So i didn't mind
