I would think you hold the bouquet during the kiss.
Don't you typically hand off the bouquet as soon as you get up to the alter to have hands free for ceremony? Then get it back for recessional -- at least, that is what I am used to.

This is what we did in my church. The altar boys took them from me and my MOH and gave them back before we walked back down the aisle.
i handed mine off to my brother he was my man of honor when we were on the alter people are still teasing him lol about how cute he looked
