I night sound dumb for asking this but what is a kissing bell?

I *think*, instead of people clinkin their glasses with their silverware, they ring these little bells, for you and your husband to kiss :)

We used kissing bells....they doubled as the placecard holders.

Unfortunately, one of my friends though it would be funny if he carried the bell onto the dancefloor so he could ring it while dancing next to DH and I
