Can anyone recommend a company to totally design and re-do our kitchen? It's small so we need someone who can optimize the space. We are in N. Seaford/N. Wantagh/N. Massapequa area -- oh or S. Levittown!! Lol - not sure where I live! (j/k) Thanks!!

Re: Kitchen Designers - Recommendations PLEASE??
Hi -
My dad is a contractor and he usually deals with Consumer Kitchen & Bath. The staff there can design your kitchen w/o the fee of an architect which saves a lot of money!!!
I know there is one in Holbrook and Commack (which is closer to you). I don't know if they have another location in Nassau.
Good luck!

I have an apt. with Consumer in East Meadow tomorrow, but they don't install. ANd, they won't even tell you anyone to install until AFTER you buy from them! So, how do I know if my contractor wouldn't get a better deal, if I don't have a contractor? Ugh it's frustrating....

Re: Kitchen Designers - Recommendations PLEASE??
If you decide to reface instead of redesign (like we did), I would recommend the company that just finished refacing my kitchen today. They did a GREAT job, the kitchen looks totally new. It's a small kitchen also (7x9, or is it 9x7?) and refacing was a great option for us. Let me know if you are interested.

I'd be interested in hearing a company good at refacing .. but they'd have to be able to maybe do something with the existing cabinets to make room for a bigger wall oven .. and maybe build another cabinet for under a window.

What about Allure? I like the idea of going with a big (reputable) company. You may pay a little more but I think it is worth the money.
