Register for all of the attachments! But seriously - an extra bowl for sure & the scraper is supposed to be good. Just take a look at the attachments and see what you are going to use. My mom is buying us ours, and I can't wait!!!

That's awesome! I adore my mixer!

I haven't used it yet but I have the ice cream bowl and attachment. I'm definitely going to make some homemade ice cream after the wedding

I think the only other attachment (other than what came with it) that I would want to get is the pasta attachment.

ETA: definitely an extra bowl! Actually that is now going on my list as the next thing to get for it.

Re: kitchenaid mixer!

I have had my mixer for over 5 years now, my step dad bought it for me for my birthday one year when I was in college (since I LOVE to bake).

My MOH bought us the pasta attachment and I am completely obsessed with it. I have to say it takes SOO long but it is so worth it. Would completely recommend you register for it.

I also have the shredder attachment, its ok, but the food processor is easier.

Also, DO NOT put the paddles in the dishwasher, FH put the dough hook in and it ruined the finish on it. Just a word of advice lol.

Stupid question - does the ice cream maker attachment - come with the bowl - or do you have to order the bowl separately? Thanks for bringing this up - I didn't know I could order the attachments!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
