Kitten wanted - UPDATE, we got one!

My sister is desperate to get a kitten for Christmas - she's always wanted a kitten waiting for her under the Christmas tree.

We've been calling & visiting shelters but there are NO kittens (YOUNG kittens). Either that or they want to have them adopted them in pairs.

There's already an adult cat in the home, so she really wants a young kitten and only one, not a pair.

Anyone have any kittens? Know of anyone looking to have a kitten adopted?

TIA

This was posted earlier today! We too were looking for kittens and having a hard time finding one--wrong season for it. Good luck!

check this site : www.siameserescue.org

you should check on the Siamese Cat Rescue Center, they are based in Virginia.

I'm sorry you havent' had any luck finding a kitten yet. Is it too late for this year or will it get easier in January?

Check out petfinder.com or else there is a place called Noah's Ark in Bellerose.

Good luck!

My mother's boss took in a stray a few months ago - she had kittens a month later!

Now this woman is caring for/feeding 5 kittens and is desperately looking for good homes for them. (I've seen them, they're adorable!)

I'm sorry, I don't have many details, but I know that they are all healthy (been to the vet). Unfortunately, I don't know exactly how old they are, I'd have to ask her.

She is in Florida for the holidays, won't be back until the first of the year. I wish I had known this yesterday! She left this afternoon...

I'm sorry- but if you're still interested after 1.1.05, let me know!

we got an adorable kitten as the Islip shelter today. She's SO cute - black & white and SWEET!

Thanks for all your help!
