Kitty Crack (aka 'catnip') has caused quite the controversy in our apartment tonight. We got the cats a new cardboard scratcher and FH made the mistake of putting ALL the included catnip on the board at once. All 3 of them kept fighting over the scratcher, licking the spot on it that had the most catnip and laying all over it. It was ridiculous!! I took pics--I'll have to download them.
The worst thing is that they've all licked that one spot so much that now it's like this moist, mushy cardboard mess. Ewwww!!

Re: Kitty Crack
That's how mine get. They spread their front legs out so no one else can have some. They get so nuts! We have a 3 tiered scratching post from the floor to the ceiling and I put catnip on all 3 layers. You should see the antics that causes!

That is hilarious! I can tell they're frantic to get to it! My guy goes wild over bleach as well as catnip
