Just wondering if you have been to the Allegria to check things out. Its still closed and cant really see in. Are you getting nervous?? Word around LB is that they arent going to open this summer. Dont mean to alarm you but just wanted you to know. Get on their a$$ and ask. GOOD LUCK! Ill leep my ears & eyes open. Since im the boards everyday once the weather is semi nice enough

REALLY??? Oh cool. U cant see in. I mean the last i saw but i bet its all rumors. Like i said word around LB. But who knows. I mean if they have bookings they need to be done!

I think she actually (or someone else) posted that they were in contact and things were moving along...not sure...id hate for this poor bride to be alarmed for no reason!! I hope it all works out hun!!

Yeah I think a while ago she was nervous about a wedding they cancelled but since then everything's been cleared up!

Yup! I spoke to Jen (my BM) last week and things are moving along--a little more slowly than they'd like--but her staff is starting 4.28. With staff comes payroll so I'm sure they wouldn't be paying people if they weren't opening! Opening date is posted as 5.18 on the site!!!!!
I'm nervous but I think thats normal when booking at a place thats not built! Living on the edge, haha.
But apparently they're building from the inside out, so the last thing to be completed will be the exterior...fingers crossed!!!!!!!

So my mother's friend whose girlfriend is going to be the concierge said she doesnt think the hotel will be ready in may....i hope it will be ready soon though.. i know they have weddings there for the end of may

A friend of my coworkers was supposed to get married there in May. They had to push back her wedding til July. I heard they are giving them soooo much stuff for free, so it makes it a little bit better.

That they haven't postponed anything? I mean its not like if they don't open we're not going to find out?!
She had inspectors there yesterday for various things, I guess I'll wait another month and see whats up?

Kittygags- so being that I'm getting married there I was quite curious so I took a ride over with my FH....There is no way they are opening soon we said not till july at least they are making progress but there are so many thing missing still I actually can't beliee that they haven't changed the date on their website!

Good thing you have a year and half! I don't!!!!!! I heard 2 weeks til I get to see the room, thats the only thing I really care about because I want to book my florist and without seeing the room I'm having a hard time doing that.
Aside from that I don't care if they open in August, I just want to book my last major vendor!!!!! I feel like its kinda held me up from doing the little things, knowing that I have something major hanging out there. KWIM?
