Kleinfeld Brides...

Just said yes to the dress!! Never thought it would be at Kleinfeld's, but it was. Any feedback or tips for fittings or future appointments there?

My biggest concern is the alterations. Although I can choose to get the alterations done elsewhere, is it worth the money for peace of mind?

I haven't had alterations yet but my mom conceived me to spend the money there.

Totally worth the cost. They're the best of the best. I lost 30 lbs between buying my dress and getting alterations done. They handled the situation perfectly. My dress was immaculate for my wedding :) Hope that helps!

Congratulations! I didn't think I'd be getting my dress there either, I just went for the 'experience' lol. In my personal opinion, I think it is worth it to just do there, for the peace of mind mostly, but also it is a flat fee for ANY and ALL alterations, depending what you have done to the dress it may cost the same or more to do elsewhere anyways. Just my opinion.

I too didn't think that I would be doing it there, but they have that amazing reputation for a reason - they really go out of your way to make you happy with a dress! I wanted to cheap out on alterations but my Mom insisted on doing them there. I probably would have only saved a hundred dollars or so at the end of the day and they have the advantage of being so experienced and with such a huge staff that you know you will be happy with their product.

Congrats!!! I am also a Kleinfeld bride and I plan on doing everything there.
I purchased a Michelle Roth dress and since she and Henry Roth are pretty much exclusive to Kleinfeld - I feel more comfortable having a 1-stop-shop situation.

Either way you decide - CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

I bought a Dina Davos dress there in May and have already lost 30 pounds. Hoping to lose even more by my fitting in March. Kleinfeld already knows and took this into account when ordering my dress. It's on my form so there are no surprises when the dress falls off me in a few months
