Kleinfeld's Blowout Sale

So, of course I was watching Say Yes to the Dress last night, and they had a special one about their Blowout Sale. I was wondering if anyone has ever been to one of these.

Is it worth going? I tend to think sample dresses are the ones that hundreds of girls try on, drag across the floor, stretch out, tear, etc, and they're not the best quality.

Also, do they only have tiny sample sizes? I'm sort of in the middle, size-wise, but would feel terrible about myself if i stood in line for hours to only try on dresses that couldn't even fit around one of my thighs.

Any input would be helpful!!!

Kleinfeld's Blowout Sale

I went to the sample sale just to get an idea of a style and ended up buying a dress. However the dress I bought was not a sample. You can make an appointment and try on sample dresses (which yes you must buy as is) and if you aren't seeing anything you like, have the consultant pull new dresses for you. That's what I did. I thought all of the sample dresses were trashed.

Re: Kleinfeld's Blowout Sale

Most of their designers sample size go o 12 which I think is a street size 8 or 10. They have a lot of dresses in their sample sale. Some of them are In off white. I didn't see anything for me but there were people buying. Some of the accessories sample price were still a little high.

Kleinfeld's Blowout Sale

I went s it was fun but the dresses are still in the $2-4k range. You buy as is and you still have to pay for alterations and cleaning. They have them A
Lined up by price and size. Accessories are on sale too and I still got ripped off. Found the same shoes at rk bridal for same 'sale' price...

Go w the intent to have fun, not to browse and get one for $800...
