Kleinfelds

Has anyone gotten their dresses from here?
Can you recommend someone good to make an appointment with? Also, how far in advance do you have to call for an appointment?

I did, and used Vivian. She was wonderful to me.

I called about a week in advance. Be prepared though, they ask for a credit card number to hold the appointment. If you don't call to cancel and don't show up, they charge you $50. If you show and all is well, they do nothing.

I also bought my gown there. I highly recommend using Toniann. She was wonderful to work with. My best friend just got her dress there also and I told her to use her and she loved her.

I made my appt. also a week in advance.

I didn't get my dress from there but I almost did...
I used Vicky and she was wonderful- very attentive...
1. Get the VERY first appointment of the morning. Trust me- you will be glad you did. There is a wait at least an hour long for all other brides after you show up to claim your appointment. More attention will be lavished upon you.
2. If you can, avoid Saturday. Consultants are prone to 'sickness'--- which is understsandable with a bad hangover and I respect that- but it makes for an even more intolerable wait.
3. Try to go when they have a trunk show- kills two birds with one stone.
I have heard of terrible Kleinfelds experiences, but I had a great one!

My consultant is Audry... such a doll!!!

I made my appointment for the same day! It was great. Hardly anyone was in the store. I went on a Friday at 2pm! Such a wonderful bunch of people!!!

Who ever you have as a consultant... definitely go to thier sample selection upstairs... who knows you might find something up there you love and they start at $500 (i think)

I bought my dress there too. My consultant, Sadie was great. I had a great experience. I agree with Sept20yay about making your appointment first thing in the morning. My appointment was first thing in the Saturday morning at 10:00. We arrived at 9:30 because we did not know how long it would take us to get there. Sadie took us in 20 minutes early and I was the only bride there for the first half hour. By the time I left 1:00 it was very crazy.

I just made an appointment - the first appointment on a Saturday. Do you think I would be better off gong during the week?

The ony reason I went on Saturday morning was because it was the best for my mother and myself to get together. I don't think it really matters.

Congratulations!!!! You will love it. No- You will be fine first appointment on a Saturday! Great approach.... You will be so happy when you see the Mayhem there after your appointment... Also, the consultants won't be tired. They won't have seen like 7 other brides that day.
