Kleinfeld's Advice?? I'm going tomorrow.....

I'm hoping to find 'the dress' tomorrow and have pictures of gowns that I'd like to try on.. Any advice from Kleinfeld's Brides on finding the right dress?? I'm a little overwhelmed.

The other thing is that I already have a Romona Keveza gown that I bought for a steal on ebay. It was a sample, it fits perfectly and is in great condition (just needs to be a bit shorter on the hem)...but I'm not 100% sure that it is the ONE. Am I crazy for dragging my mom all the way to Brooklyn to look at dresses that start at 2K? I feel guilty about this. Sort of.

I totally understand and am having the same situation. Don't feel guilty at all. We all went through so much trouble picking our bridesmaids dresses. It would be horrible to find the perfect dress for them and feel as if you don't have the perfect dress. I purchased a sample back in November and now I too am having second thoughts. I can't wait to hear how your experience went. Good luck!!!

LOL! You remind me of myself!
I started looking at dresses in the beginning of March, hoping to find THE ONE right away and for $2! haha.. ok, so I'm not realistic.
Anyway.. fast forward to the end of the month, and I had tried on numerous dresses ranging in price up to 6K! And I found the one at Bridal Reflections, and it was definitely more than I wanted to spend.

Do I feel guilty? Yes, a little.. but as FH pointed out, I NEVER EVER spend money on myself and he's out buying new golf irons every other season! And we just ordered him a new driver that is 3x my car payment a month! So that helped calm my nausea about dropping so much on my dress!

Go to Kleinfeld.. enjoy the experience... find the dress of your dreams and never look back! You're worth it!

honestly dress nice - they tend to size you up when you get there

i had hard time getting my salesperson to get me the more expensive gowns because she thought they were too much for me - when i am off from work i always dress in jeans and tank top

I understand how you feel. I didn't want to go all the way there either. I felt it would be a pain for fittings. But I had such a great experience there. My consultant Renee was fabulous. I love her. So, I ended up ordering my dress there and my headpiece too. And the price - when I think about it I get palpitations! It still shocks me, so I just don't think about it. I looove the dress soooo much.

Have fun!!!

You have nothing to lose if you go. Maybe you'll find something else you like better.

Let me know if you see any nice shoes. I heard they have a great shoe collection for brides.
