I'm not b/c I live in FL but I got a call yesterday that said that the remainder of my payment is due.
Is that true that you have to pay the remaining balance before the first fitting??

I agree, I think you have to pay as soon as the dress is delivered to them and I don't think you can visit before the fitting appointment, but that is why they say 2 months before I believe.

I really would like to see the dress beforehand considering I've never seen it in my color, didn't take any pictures of me in it, etc. and want to dye my shoes the proper color! I guess I can wait to do this right before wedding but wish I could try it on before then....sigh....
