kleinfelds vent

I finally went and let me tell you personally i did not like it at all!!! What is all the hype?


The fact that they act like your BFF, send you to a room filled with dresses in plastic bags, the fumes made my head spin! I pulled all these dresses none where in the room.

I printed all these pictures of dresses and they told me that they were all fake or out of style or past season, meanwhile they were all direct from the designers sites 2009 line!!

I explained my budget 6,000(I feel this is high and alot a salesperson can work with) I explained I hate big dresses.She makes me try on something that i can fit prob fit 5 people underneath the dress in the tulle. Then she claims has a miracle dress, I try it on love it brings me viels that were 3-5k just to get an idea. I take off the dress its so plain. Its off course exclusive to them and it is 7,600!!! explains to me since we are family now that she will get me a great deal if I buy my dress ASAP, realizes that I refuse to buy the dress and kicks me out before my appt ends.

I tried on a total of 2 dresses!! NEVER EVER AGAIN, I read all the reviews on yelp and I couldnt have agreed more!!

btw the dress is no where to be found on the site of the designer and Kleinfields till i found it on brides.com, a bride who got married in 2005!!!

I had a similar experience there. Try Pronovias. They treat you like a queen and the dresses are gorgeous.

i went I loved them and they were super sweet and the dresses were in the sweetest bags that you can see them right away! i just didnt find 'the dress'

What a shame, I got my dress there and every time I go its such a pleasant experience. After Kleinfelds it was like a breath of fresh air. Glad you went there at least.

I'm sorry about your experience. I never even went there. Try Wedding Salon of Manhasset, Rosemary and Charmaine are wonderful saleswomen in the main salon, and Tara at Vera Wang is a doll.

I went there originally as a fluke, b/c all along I wanted to go to Kleinfeld, and you know what? I canceled the Kleinfeld appointment because I knew where I wanted to do business with.

Wedding Salon has SO MANY dresses you will love..

Any of those ladies will give you the wonderful experience you deserve. Good luck!

I mean i tried on 2 dresses I thought they had the world largest bridal selection! I guess for no one to try on!!

I'm so sorry to hear this! I was also going to suggest Pronovias. What about Wedding Atalier?

Oh no! I'm so sorry that happened.

I bought my dress there like 2 weeks ago. But I had a teriffic experience... and actually it was my second time going there. I went to Keasha. Who was your consultant? She doesn't sound all that great at all!

I had some AWFUL dress shopping experiences as well. So I know what it's like. I'm sorry.

I went to kleinfleds i never got the hype about it, i found there dresses to be a tad overpriced and especially there veils. But i guess everyones experiences vary.

The veils are very expensive there. I did buy my dress there but i bought a veil from a veil boutique in the village. Kleinfelds was asking for $1800 and i got 2 veils that detached for $300. I mean the dress is one thing to spend money on but for a veil i didnt feel it was worth it.

My veil is from there too. I got it for $400. It's a perfect match to my dress.... the designer actually made a veil to go with the dress I got. So I must have gotten lucky.

that is real good, every veil i saw was $1200-2k

im sorry u had such a bad experience...u would think if someone told u a budget of 6k they would be happy

Hmmm.. sorry to hear you didnt have a nice experience with them. I have to say when I went there I had such an amazing time. And I went there to try on the Pnina Tornai's but they werent in bag or anything...they were all out. While I was there I think I tired on like 10+ dresses. I spent a lot of time in one Pnina....b/c I LOVED it and my mom hated it... (I should have got that dress )

Anyway... they were superrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr nice to me and I really cant say enough great things about them... all of them I had Vivian, Randy, Maria and the girl that works for Pnina... I forgot her name. And Pnina was there as well. it was such a great time.
