Knee length bridesmaid dresses

The only thing to keep in mind is: Is it an evening wedding or a daytime wedding. I think that is more of a factor then what time of year.

I had knee length BM dresses for my wedding on 9/19 of last year.

the day was a little chilly but the girls were fine. I bought them each ivory colored shawls/pashimas that matched the dresses and they just used those for in between pictures.

There's no such thing as 'probably better' -- there is what you like and what your girls feel comfortable in and that's all! Don't worry about what other people think when you're making your decisions!!!!! It's ok to get feedback and advice, but ultimately you should always do what your gut tells you that you love and enjoy.

My girls are wearing tea-length dresses, and I'm very excited about them (I just wish they'd come in already!!!!). Granted, my wedding is in July, but I like the look and find it a lot more practical. (Honestly, I wish my dress were shorter -- I hate dragging lol)

Do you have styles in mind that you like?

Well everything I've been looking at so far has been long because I was so on the fence about the short dresses so I haven't really found anything yet. I looked on the J Crew bridal site to see what they had and I wasn't in love with anything. I think I'm going to look around and if I really love something I'll see what my girls think. If I don't fall in love with anything then I'll stil to the gowns I picked out.

Honestly? I would not have lemon yellow knee length dresses. But if you WANT knee length, go with a dark color.

But IMHO a long drss is more appropriate for an evening wedding.

My girls are in knee length dresses for my mid September wedding. I love them and most importantly- they do as well! That will show in the photos

As for the daytime/night time thing- unless it's an event at the Waldorf Astoria or some type of red carpet Oscar event....short dresses are fine.

I am getting married this Summer and having T-length dresses AND its an evening wedding. If someone has something to say about it at my wedding, they can s uck it lol

Do what you want.... and what is going to make you happy. At the end of the day- its YOUR wedding!!

I think they look good all year but that is JMO Either way I also think you should do what makes you happy!
