Knee length bridesmaid dresses

Do you think they're ok for a late September wedding? I keep going back and fourth about it. I think they're so cute but I don't know if it's more for a May-August thing.

I'm having a nighttime wedding in July and I'm doing knee length--I agree that the nighttime day time thing doesn't really matter unless it's going to be black tie.

Do you what you want! If you see dresses that you love and your girls love, then get them regardless of time of day or year!

i think knee length for September is fine! it's still fairly warm. as long as you know what you want, go for it!

My jr bridesmaids are wearing tea length in December. I say do what you like, don't worry about it.

If it's a nighttime wedding and you're going to have the guest wearing black tie (or black tie optional) then the BMs should be in long gowns. If your wedding is more casual, then the BMs can wear shorter dresses.

I think absolutely fine - even if the wedding is Black Tie. Some shorter dresses are just as fancy as long, and with the right jewelry - just as elegant.

I just prefer shorter dresses SO much more, so I am happy to see them becoming so popular.

I had knee length BM dresses for my wedding on 9/19 of last year.

the day was a little chilly but the girls were fine. I bought them each ivory colored shawls/pashimas that matched the dresses and they just used those for in between pictures.

but i agree--do what YOU want. this wedding reflects you and your taste (oh yeah, and FH's )

I also got married on 9/19 last year and my BMs wore knee length/tea length dresses. I, too, purchased them pashminas to keep warm in between photos. Might have pictures in my album. They were Bill Levkoff.

I'm getting married in October. I'm having a black tie optional wedding at night and my girls are wearing short dresses in a dark color. The accessories will make the dress more / less dressy.

I'm having an evening wedding in September with knee length BM dresses for the girls-- they are fun & they really liked them! I say do whatever you want, it's your day! :)

Honestly? I would not have lemon yellow knee length dresses. But if you WANT knee length, go with a dark color.

But IMHO a long drss is more appropriate for an evening wedding.

I actually think a color like lemon would look great in knee length. i dont think knee length is only appropriate with dark colors
