I have a knife edge e-ring, and I got a tiny little diamond eternity ring to go up against it. It doesnt look perfect, but it'll do. I dont think that anything really goes that well with it unless its another knife-edge wedding band

I don't know what a knife-edge ring is either. Can you post a picture?
I have an unusual antique ring so I understand what your going through. You can always go custom or wear your e-ring on the right hand and wedding band on the left.

my ering setting is similar to this. I wanted the wedding band to go with it, but its ridiculously expensive in platinum

I have a knife edge ering and I'm going to get an eternity band with it. You can always go to Elsa's in farmingdale and they will design something for you.

Re: knife-edge e-ring
I went for the tiffany look with the 6-prong knife edge and it looks best with an eternity band. That is the reason I went for a solitare specifically to get the eternity band.
I have a knife edge ring too. No band is really going to sit flush up against your ring. If you can deal with it, that's fine, if not, you can get a super thin band to wear as a buffer between your e ring and the wedding band.

That's what I'm doing too...

I have the same problem - I have the 6-prong Tiffany round solitaire and decided to go with the channel-setting eternal - matches perfectly!
