In my search I did find a pave-set knife edge wedding band which looked good too
that's mine. I love it. I have an antique setting and had a similar problem. I got a small eternity band that rests below the design so it is still visible. Maybe you can try something flat?

Re: knife-edge e-ring
I don't have that type of ring, but mine is an antique style so I needed to find a coordinating band as well. I say go to Good Old Gold in Massapequa...if you're local. They're great and they have a bunch of bands that you could try on to see if you find something. I'm actually having a band custom made by them to match the etching on my ring. If you ask them, they can probably give you some great suggestions. Chrissy is especially helpful.

Love Good Old Gold! I don't think anyone has a bad thing to say about them. I got my antique e-ring there.

Re: knife-edge e-ring
a knife edge ring is a regular band but it's raised in the center and comes up to a point.
I have a 6-prong knife edge e-ring and wanted that so i could pair it w/ a diamond band -- i love the way they look.
i have pix of my rings in my album, but here are some more
1- knife edge band w/ matching knife edge wedding band
2- knife edge band w/ half knife edge, half diamond band
