My frineds step Mom has her own business and is so nice. The place is called Knit PIck I think it is in the baldwin area. Let me know how it goes if you deceide to go, I am dying to learn how to knit and she told me I should come down, but I have been so busy.

You may also want to check with Michael's - they have arts & crafts classes a few times a weeks. I think last month they had a knitting a poncho workshop. I am not sure what their schedule is for October.
