When my sons tooth came in it had a white spot on it. Not sure why.. Anyway since then the spot has turned dark brown and I noticed theres a type of hole forming!! I am so worried and need to bring him in asap but I dont want to take him to my dentist. I dont ven like him. I need a pediatric dentist in Suffolk around Patchogue. Any ideas?
Im just so because I KNOW my son is going to FREAK.

My dentist and hygenists are excellent with kids. He is not only a pediatric dentist, but he has many child patients. Last time I saw the hygenists showing one boy on a puppet what they would do to his teeth, and there are tvs in all the rooms for the kids to watch. He's located in 347 in Stony Brook--FM me for info if that's not too far.

the same thing happened to my cousin - when she was little, her parents always put her to bed with a juice bottle. The kid would sleep with the bottle, and all of the sugar in the juice rotted out her teeth.
She saw a great pediatric dentist that just retired because he developed cancer, but just to let you know, she now has a beautiful smile, with no decay/brown spots. (though she has several crowns)

thanks. Im just afraid hell get a needle - he would never let anyone touch his mouth again!
I really have no idea why he got this. I breastfed him. He was never put to bed with a bottle and when his teeth came in it already had a spot on it?? No idea

Good news is that if they are still baby teeth it won't be permanent damage.

yes, I know - Im thrilled about that. I was hoping they could just wait until it falls out, but its looking worse and worse, so Im pretty sure they are going to have to do something about it.
