I am looking for some more summer tutoring. I am a certified elem ed teacher with a masters degree. I am also a certified Literacy Specialist. I have five years teaching experience and I am willing to travel. If you know of anyone please FM me. Thanks

Have you considered tutoring through a company, like Kaplan or PR?
I find it's easier that wya. You're provided with the students and the support you need.

Yes, but they don't pay nearly as well as private tutoring.

I would assume they would want some teaching experience and def a certification in either elem or literacy or something. Not sure?

To teach/tutor for a standardized test you need to have scored in the 90th percentile or above. You then need to pass a 5 minutes how to training audition and then a 5 session (20 hour) training program. They start at $18 per hour for teaching and $25 per hour for tutoring.
