Hi. I am considering the Thatched Cottage for my RH and I wanted to know if anyone has had any experience with a kosher wedding there. I know that they do them, although it costs quite a bit extra. Everything seems nice there, I just don't know how well they pull off the kosher food, since they don't typically do kosher weddings.

Re: Kosher at Thatched Cottage?
I asked them about it before booking. They did say they would do it. I'm not sure if I really want to do kosher or not -- but I had the same concerns as you. We decided to just go for it because we loved the place. We may decide to go 'kosher style', although it kills me as the shrimp wrapped in bacon was sooo good at the tasting As you can see, I'm not very religious! They did say that if we didn't go totally kosher, they could order a few kosher meals from a glatt kosher vendor for dinner. Off to work, hope that helped!

Thanks. I also would be upset about having some of the nonkosher dishes, (not to mention paying extra) but I really want to have a kosher wedding.
