KPTOYS

Where do you take Emma for her swim lessons? (you can FM me if you'd rather) I want to find a place that will take a young child.
Thanks!

The Mommy & me's say to age 2. Patrick will be 3 in July. But, I'd rather be in there w/ him.

I thought about that too. BUT I also knew that a one - on - one would teach her quicker than us playing. And its not like you leave them completly you are behind a glass where they cant see in...

She has 30 minutes of teaching time and 30 minutes of free swim with me.

As friendly as Patrick is I can't see him going in the water w/ someone he doesn't know.

I also felt the same way about Emma... yes, she cried but she got used to it. They say give it 3 sessions then make a decision.

By having her take swimming lessons when we were in FL she was swimming (yes she had swimmies on) and people were commenting about how young she was to be swimming like she was. If she is near a pool and falls in she knows to turn around and grab the edge. Makes me feel safer. They teach them water safety, how to swim and how to respect the water.

Tracy -
Shannon went to the Y on Hiilside. I'm sure they have a program for older children.

Sorry to butt in. I took Annalise to the YMCA. They have programs for all ages and private lessons too.
