Re: Kris
I love John's Pizzaria on West 44th. It's really good, prices are nice, good beer list. I go there a lot before shows.
For Thai, Yum Yum on 9th Ave is good. I also go here before shows!
I personally love the Hard Rock because they have the best mac and cheese in the world.
Carmine's is really good, a bit pricy and family-style though, so it might not be good for just the two of you. Though I've split their portabello hero and a salad before with one person.
Heartland Brewery - typical bar-type food. Really good. Obv a great beer list.

Ergh, Young Frankenstein. I'm sorry you had to witness that.
Call Carmine's, you never know. Tony DiNapoli is also really good, family style Italian and right in the same 'hood.

Try Daniella's on 8th Avenue between 45th and 46th Street. Very good italian restaurant. We go there ever time we go see a show.

I freakin' LOVE Young Frankenstein. IMO one of the best films ever made. As a Broadway show...not so much. And they got really cocky with the premium seating. It became (and still is) a big joke among theatre people. We're a b!tchy set and don't forget things quickly.
Well anyway...you're seeing Jesse Katsopolis tomorrw night! Woooooooooo!!!!!!!!

Ilana... Bye Bye Birdie was really good... it started off a little slow... but Gina Gershon was great, John Stamos was ehh... but all the kids they had in the show were fantastic... the woman who played Stamos' mom was awesome... and the guy who played Kim's father was awesome also.... if you get a chance to see it you should

well you know Blazing Saddles on Broadway is now in the works? I am going to see just cuz I'm a huge Me Brooks fan but I am not sure how this is going to play out on the stage.
Honestly, I think they should bring Men In Tights to the stage because that is probably the only movie of his that would play out well on stage. It already has the songs and dance routines.

im sure i'll go see it too... my problem with movies converted to Plays is that I get attached to the characters in the movie.. and am usually disappointed in the plays...
