No, it was pushed to last night and afterwards I ate Taco Bell and passed out.
It went well. He seemed to be okay with the interfaith thing, though pushed toward me accepting Islam (as, I guess, any leader of a religion would do when counselling an interfaith couple). He is actually also legally allowed to officiate a marriage in NYS, which helps tremendously, because he could potentially perform the legal ceremony as well as the nikkah (Muslim marriage).
We're not 100% that we'll be using him, but we're definitely leaning toward him. He seems to be a lot more progressive in his ways than other members of the community have, especially when it comes to Neel and I.
