Re: Krispy Kreme
There is a Krispy Kreme store on Hempstead Turnpike in East Meadow. It's just west of the Wantagh Parkway.

Re: Krispy Kreme
On today's Oprah, it was mentioned that Gwen Stephani and Gavin Rossdale gave out Krispy Kreme's to their guests at the end of their wedding.
We were offered the donuts at the end of Michele31's wedding, but I didn't take them b/c I don't eat donuts and would have thrown them away. I figured Michele would rather have them in her freezer since she loves them.

Re: Krispy Kreme
I gave the same favors as some famous people- wow. In the last days I didn't have time to do the stickers so I just removed them from my to-do list. I gave the few left over boxes to the staff at the reception. The last thing I need is more 'fat' food in my freezer But people did like them.
P.S. The truck costs $150. Delivery is $75.

Re: Krispy Kreme
there's a place on hempsteak typk in east meadown, and one in penn station if you're ever there.....if you already have the candle thing to keep as a keepsake, I would do the doughnut thing if that's what you want. Especially if it's a night wedding, as they can have them for breakfast in the morning. For not too much extra, I think, they will park the truck outside your hall, and give everyone a box with two doughnuts in it. I thought it was a cute idea, but we decided to give out beer coozies on the way out instead, (we're weird). The thing of it was, it was a cool idea in the beginning and the people there were really nice, but then when they realized they were becoming really popular as wedding favors, they started charging double, which is so not cool! good luck!
