FH wants to give his mom a day at the spa as her gift for the wedding. What are some good ones around the Forest Hills area? They live in Woodhaven but she doesn't drive so it can't be too far away.

Ive never been, but Ive heard good things about Spa Castle in College Point:
i vote for Spa Castle! she can take the subway to Flushing and they have shuttle service from there to the Spa

Has anyone heard of Ascend Day Spa in Kew Gardens? It got great reviews on spafin der.com and it's really affordable.

I'm not a fan of spa castle. There are too many bratty kids running around! it might be nice when it's not so crowded, but I went on a Friday afternoon in July last year and it was PACKED. Completely obnoxious and a waste of time.
