I went to my RH today to drop off $$ and I asked about the cake. I went to a showcase their and some of the people I was with didn't care for the cake. So..when I asked about it today he said they use La Bonne Boulangerie Bakery & Pastry Shop in Port Jefferson. I have never heard of them. Does anyone know how their pastries are? Anyone ever deal with them personally before? Any feed back would be helpful..
TIA

my old boss always used them, said they have great cakes, we have a choice of using them or another bakery from our hall.

Love this bakery!!!!!!! Authentic and delicious French pastries. I've never had wedding cake from them, but no doubt it'd be delicious! It's so charming!

Re: La Bonne Boulangerie Bakery
Giorgios uses this bakery as their cake vendor. So i wanted to try something from there before getting my cake from there. I ordered a plate of pastries, they were amazing. I also just sent a basket or cookies and brownies to a friend who said they were delicious.

Re: La Bonne Boulangerie Bakery
Newlywed crashing here...I ordered my wedding cake from them and everyone loved it. The cake looked like a work of art, and it tasted delicious and the freshest I've ever had at a wedding. Unlike some other bakeries, they actually bake your wedding cake the day of...really early in the morning.
A few months before the wedding, I ordered a small sample cake (serves 6-8 ppl), I think it was around $20. My cake was half chocolate pudding filling and half chantilly cream with fresh berries. I ordered my sample with the berries to see if I liked it and it was amazing.
