Did anyone use this bakery for their cake and recommend any type of filling or frosting? I have an appt. on Thursday and I am looking for any feedback possible. I am not usually a sweets eater, so I prefer any input you have :) Thanks

This bakery has another location in East Norwich which is very good! I actually got engaged right outside the bakery FH got a cake that said will you marry me! I haven't started looking for my cake yet but will probably go there everything they have is delicious!

They supplied the cake as an outside vendor for a showcase I went to at Lombardi's on the Sound, and I wasn't too pleased with it. The cake itself was pretty standard, but the icing inside tasted...pink. It was pink, but it TASTED pink lol...if tat makes any sense? Like refrigerator-y sweet.
I'm not a big cake person myself, so maybe it's a biased opinion, but I think it would have been better if it was an actual flavored frosting rather than a colored buttercream.

I just went there yesterday. Corey was so nice. We picked out our cake and I gave him a picture of the exact cake I want. I am also going to get my groom's cake from them. We picked up some cookies and pastries from there to bring to a friends house and the entire tray was gone in literally 3 minutes. Everyone raved about te cannolis and cookies!!! I am excited about this vendor.
