La Grange Inn

We have been booked for La Grange Inn but have had to postpone due to immigration. I know I have asked this before, but has anyone been to any recent weddings or parties there? I noticed they have made some changes since my first visit there.

I had my sister's bridal shower there almost 4 years ago. It was wonderful but I think that it has been taken over by a new company. The place is beautiful but I can not comment on the food or service of thenew company.
I guess I really didnt help huh??

My friend was married there this past June.. I didn't go but from the pics it looked really pretty.. My sister said it was a nice place, food was good, but the wedding ****ed people the people at that wedding in particular were corny lol

I was just at a 2nd wedding there a few weeks ago.
The room was nice but I find it not fancy enough for a first wedding but more appropriate for people on their second marriage. The food was okay. I was told that the food was excellent there and was a little disappointed that it wasn't as good as I imagined and they didn't refill some of the platters.

I was there in January for an anniversary party. I agree that it's not very fancy and kind of on the plain side for a wedding. I think La Grange is more appropriate for a shower, engagement party sort of thing. I'm not sure if the staff would even know how to handle something as formal as a wedding.
But that's JMO!

P.S. I thought the food was very good!

I celebrated New Years Eve at the La Grange Inn this past year. The ballroom is huge, but not too fancy. I wasn't impressed with the food. I had some sort of chicken dish and it wasn't even warm. The La Grange is under new managment and I know they are trying to make some changes. It is not the same La Grange from years ago.
