Has anyone blocked rooms there? How many? What was the rate? Did you visit? Was there anything you had to sign? Do they throw anything in - shutlle, free room, etc.?

I bloacked 10 rooms (I think that the min. you can block). For 12/27 they gave us a rate of $149 plus tax. I used to work in the are and it was decent. They email you a contract per say but you put no money down...it basically just let's you know that rooms need to be booked up to one month before the wedding at the special rate...if not they will not honor the special rate.
They don't trow in the bridal suite or free room for the bride and groom...unless I forgot to ask....and I'm not sure about the shuttle...I'm not doing it.

I blocked rooms there- for every 15 that you block they give you something (shuttle for 15 people or $150 off one of the suites)- I also visited and they showed me the rooms, suites and hotel- I definately recommend doing that- they were very easy to work with.

I just blocked 30 rooms for november and they also have this bar/lounge area that u can rent for $150 until 4 am if u want sort of an after party...Sounded great tome!!!

We blocked the Hampton Inn 10 rooms $109 a night. FMIL decided to book her room at La Qunita because it was less expensive $97 per night and about 2 miles closer to rh. They offered a shuttle for guests and a free room for FH & I if we booked 10 rooms.
