La Quinta

La Quinta

Hi everyone!

I heard a few brides look into this hotel. I thought I remembered reading reviews about a shuttle, but then Francesca from Dazzling Affairs told me that the Hilton in Westbury is the only one who does the shuttle to Jericho Terrace, which is where my reception is. Anyone know if La Quinta has a free shuttle, do you think Francesca may have gotten mixed up or maybe she's just pushing the Hilton bc that is who JT has a setup with?

TIA!

Re: La Quinta

My friend got married in september at JT, and the hotel they used was La Quinta. She had to provide the shuttle service herself. I believe she used Camelot. They gave her the best deal.

I thought it was La Quinta too. Maybe they changed their contracts. You can always call La quinta to ask. I went to see the hotel and wasn't too crazy about it. I ended up using Hilton Garden Inn in westbury, it's newer and very up to date.

I just got off the phone with them so this is coming straight from the horses mouth... they will only provide a free shuttle if there are 15+ rooms booked... or will give you $150 towards the bridal suite

Thank you so much! I was actually looking for your post about the hotel bc I had seen it the other day. I was hoping you would respond bc I remembered you saying you just looked at it. Once we actually go check hotels out I will fully decide. I had heard such good things about La Quinta and was really interested so thanks for clarifying!

yep that is the deal with LaQuinta - you can get a free shuttle - i think JT has a deal with the Hilton now - probably getting kickbacks so I am guessing that is the reason they recommend them - we stayed at LaQuinta and it was great.....I got ready there and DH and I stayed in the bridal suite the night of and we had breakfast with our guests the next morning downstairs in the lobby area

LOL no problemo! They actually just told me the best news of all... that i could just rent the shuttle through for very little from them if i didnt have 15 rooms booked. Which is great bc ive been weighing the pros and cons of a $250+ limo for the wedding party (we're staying overnight the night before bc of early morn wedding)
