La Quinta & No Liquor License!

hmmm not sure where the party can get extended to but you never know the liquor license still may come thru if not I know you think the idea of bringing your own liquor is weird but maybe if you present it in a certain way it wont feel as strange let me think...

woah.... it better come through... i was planning on having the after party there too!!

So I was planning on moving the party after the wedding to the hotel. When they were the Wingate, they said we would be able to keep the bar/lounge open for the party there. Well since they became La Quinta, they havent received their liquor license yet. The girl said she heard they'll get it in January but now Im worried they wont and Ill have nowhere to move the party! They said we could bring our own liquor but thats weird. Anyone know of anywhere around the area where we could extend the party??

There are a few bars in the garden city area but not sure if you are looking for a bar to go to or a hotel. There is the garden city hotel they have a bar/club, city cellar, city grill, waterzooi, novita is the old victory which I heard was great.

are you talking about posh in the garden city hotel, bc that one closed down this year.

LEA-bring kegs to la quinta it will be perfect and then you can do a keg stand hahahaha.

Sounds like a plan! I know a few people who would love the keg idea

The Garden City Hotel has a club. Its right up the block practically. or Mirage is the other direction up the road.

I had the same problem with La Quinta... so we booked at Hilton Garden Inn in Westbury.... we also checked out Holiday Inn in Westbury both of which have bars....
