I HATED THIS PLACE!! I thought they were so obnoxios. I actually demanded a full refund from them and got back most of my money. I hated weighing in because they looked down on you if you gained and asked you what happened in a condescending (sp??) manner. They make it sound like its so much cheaper than WW BUT they con you into buying their snacks and stuff!!!

I have had a good experience at LA Weightloss. I guess it depends on what center you go to. It is expensive, but more regimented than WW (which is waht I needed). The plan kind of works like the old WW -- certain types of food in certain amounts per day. FM if you have any more questions.

I don't know if I'm supposed to do this, but I worked for them last summer. It works, but be prepared to fork over some money -- it's roughly about $1000 for the program, plus you have to bulk buy your products right away, which will run you upwards of $500. Trust me, you will lose weight, and the women are great, it's a lot of fun, but if you're strapped for cash or don't like always being sold to, stay far far far away.

Even the first time you call, they will try to get you in for a consultation. At the consultation they'll give you you're program and expect you to sign up.

My advice -- if you have 30-50 lbs to lose or less it is not worth the thousands you're going to spend.
