Is this tacky or is it okay? We were intending to DIY our invites, but we're having issues with our printer. The addresses are printing crooked and too light on a silver envelope. We should be sending them out fairly soon. Please help!

Labels to address invitations?
I'm using clear labels and I really don't care if people think its tacky.

I know a lot of brides who are using labels! Don't worry it will look neat and clear. And at the end of the day it's only the envelope! Lol don't worry and go for it. Hope that helps.

I initially had my invites printed but then family kept adding to the list or a couple were returned for some strange reason so I had to send out new ones. I printed the new ones on big labels and stuck it on the envelope and sent it on its merry way. No one said anything. Don't worry about it!

I used 2 x 4 inch clear labels and didn't worry one bit. It looks just fine!

I was having problems with my printer since I made a custom label and could not get it to line up either. I saved the whole file to a flash drive and took it and the labels to staples and they re-did it for me. It cost 15.00 and it was done in 2 hours. Saved a lot of ink and my trouble.

This! People will throw away the envelope anyway - dont worry about it, it looks professional!

I ended up having to go back and do labels for a few addresses, at first I was worried labels were tacky but honestly no one noticed or said anything. I think it's fine.
