Labor Day wedding??

Okay so I was planning on 9/5/15 which the Saturday of Labor Day, I have heard mixed reviews about holiday weekends. If the date is a Saturday does it get priced as a normal Saturday or Friday since we have Sunday and Monday off... Any help or quotes are appreciated, we are looking into venues in Nassau County.

So far I've found that about half the venues I've looked at consider the Sunday before a holiday weekend a Saturday price-wise. You just have to email places and find out. We've been looking for either Columbus Day weekend or Labor Day weekend 2016.

We were married the Sunday of Columbus Day weekend & almost every place we looked (except Thatched Cottage) tried to charge us Saturday prices. So if you are already looking at a Saturday, it would definitely be Saturday pricing. As far as holiday weekends, we didn't have a single complaint. And since you are doing a Saturday anyway, it should be fine.

Hey! Im having a labor day weekend wedding this year. I am actually getting married the Sunday before labor day and it gets priced like a Saturday. But try to negotiate a little cause its not a true saturday. Sometimes they will be able to work with you a little more and be more flexable then if you actually choose a Saturday.

I'm getting married the Sunday of labor day weekend 9/6/15 and it was cheaper at my venue(crescent beach club)....my friends and family said its a great idea so i know they will be coming lol

The Saturdays will likely be charged as Saturdays. Check around for the Sunday of that weekend because some venues will still charge that day as a Sunday even though everyone has off the next day.
