Am I the only crazy one who is sending out her invitations at the end of May? I have all these OOT guests and it is a holiday weekend? When is everyone else sending out there invitations? Is there such a thing as too early?

Well thats the thing...I made it really early..becuase my fiance mom has a huge family (50 or more people) and the are all OOT...that is almost half of our guest list. (money requires us to have a smaller wedding)...so I dont know if they are all going to come or not going to come. I wanted to invite other poeple that I cant if they all come..so I am trying to force people to RSVP early enough so that I may be able to invite more people. Is that crazy?

i think it would be fine to send them out the end of the month.
we sent out our invites 3 months in advance and gave people 6 weeks to respond which was 6 weeks before the wedding.

I'm sending mine out last weekend of june with at july 28 RSVP. I sent out STDs so my guest list knows the info already ;)

My RSVP date is August 1. I am sending out my invites the last week in June. I sent a STD about 3 months ago, so all of my guests are already aware of our date.

Don't worry about it. I picked my date so I could do my little projects and other things in my own timeline. I have a very busy summer ahead with other weddings and events. You picked your date because it worked for you. Stick with it!

This is another reason I choose an early date...favors (personalized), menus, programs and OOT bags all have to be done after the head count it in...Thanks girls for your input.
