I couldnt imagine any person killing their OWN child so I am giving him the bennifit of the doubt.

Unfortunately, I think Scott Peterson is going to get off. It seems they do not have any STRONG evidence to connect him to Laci's murder, and from what I've been reading the prosecution thus far has been doing a horrible job in court. On the other hand, his attorney had a very strong opening statement, and it seems they are controlling the case thus far

With nothing but circumstantial evidence against him, he could very well walk free , which saddens me. Just the sight of his smug face in the courtoom bugs me beyond belief

ETA: I DEFINITELY believe he did it, no question in my mind

OH heck ya I think he did it. And for some reason I think the jury will convict him on the shear fact that they know so much about the case. And don't get me wrong I know they are supposed to base their ruling on beyond a reasonable doubt but they have already shown the baby's body and Laci's body in court to them so I think that will definitely stick in their mind throughout

I think he did it too but if I was on the jury, I don't think I would convict him on the evidence they have produced thus far. He will probably walk.

I just don't get how someone can plan/murder their loved one and child. He is a sick individual.

I think he's guilty. I'm sure there is prosecution evidence that we haven't heard.

I think he did it. There seems like a lot of circumstantial evidence--her hair and blood in his pliers and car, him telling everyone he never wanted to have kids, lying about his affair....It's scary, I bet she thought she knew the person she was married to and never would have imagined him to be a monster...

You hear about those circumstances all the time. 'He was so loving', 'they were so happy', 'We thought he was a great guy'.
I am surprised he didn't put up more of a fight in front of the media...before being arrested. Even if his personality was shy and introverted.

I agree, I fear he may walk and that would make this story all the more tragic.

I can tell he is a killer just by the look on his face. If he were innocent then you would think that he would show some emotion when they showed Laci’s body in court. Instead he whispers to his lawyer and he’s even smiled sometimes. Him smiling in court is enough to convince me, if were a juror, that he is guilty. I wouldn’t have to listen to any evidence. Just look into his face!!!

He is a heartless monster to kill his wife and baby. How do you have the heart to do such a thing! What the F*** is going through your mind as you are doing it? What would make you do it?

I don’t understand. What a horrible thing to happen to Laci, she was a pretty girl.

I couldn't agree more .. I cannot even bear to read about it, because already this case is off to the wrong start.

Unfortunately in this country, having the best, most highly-paid lawyers is often more important than justice. This case (along with the OJ case) is a perfect example of that. Scott Peterson's lawyer is excellent. And as I said before, I hear the prosecution has STUNK thus far.

I agree with the OJ fiasco but I pray they find him guilty because although most of it is circumstantial evidence there is A LOT of it. AND I think the prosecutors have more evidence then we actually know.

For one, I just learned that Laci was found with tan pants and a white shirt on. The first two called at trial (her sister and the owner of the salon she was at on Dec 23rd) said that was what she was wearing. Scott said his wife was wearing black pants and a white polka dot shirt the morning of Dec. 24th...makes you go hmmmmm.

I don't know if he planned it, but I think he was going to leave her, they had a big fight about it and he strangled her in the heat of the moment the night of Dec 23rd. However, they are saying that him buying that boat showed premeditation (Lacy didn't know about the boat).

This case makes me soooooooo sad....what monster could do this to another human being and much less and unborn baby....so sad....

I think he did it, but I'm not sure there's enough evidence against him to give him the death penalty. Usually in cases where most of the evidence is circumstantial they don't give the death penalty.

Scott had me going- 'okay, maybe he was not the killer', until the day I heard about amber frye. And when he said with a straight face that Laci knew about this relationship and was fine with it.
I'm sorry- Speaking from this age cohort, I do not know ANY 27 year old woman, who is extremely pregnant, from a sophisticated, classy family who would be okay with her husband scrEWing around. She was not 55 saddled with 3 kids. She was 27 and just about to start her life with this man. There was no way, with the smile we see in all her pics, she knew about her husbands mistress and was fine with it.

I pray and pray that they come up with evidence to BUST THAT MOTHER F$%$^%$%^% and send him away! He makes me sick!

He is SO guilty!! I hope that mofo does not walk free..

One issue with the case is that they are not 100% sure if the baby was born alive or dead..which may effect whether or not he gets the death penalty.

How could you be so calm when they find the bodies of your wife and unborn child? Any human being with a soul would be beyond devastated, and this SOB is going on like its just another day.

FRY EM!!!
