Lack of Milleridge reviews?

Lack of Milleridge reviews?

FH and I saw the Milleridge Cottage this weekend, and I love it! It might be the place! But I am concerned with the lack of feedback on the site. Have you girls heard much about the Cottage (not the Inn)? I've only seen 2 reviews.

I guess no reviews is better than bad reviews, but still...

TIA!

one of our beautiful '09 brides (SpringSandra) got married there. I'm sure she'd be happy to answer any of your questions.

I have been to a wedding there and the food was delish! Not sure who said it wasn't. It is a lovely wedding venue, and yes, I would speak with Sandra because she had her lovely summer wedding there last year.

HTH!

My Jr. Prom was there..... the food at Milleridge is good.

It was too pricey for me though.

Re: Lack of Milleridge reviews?

I'm just still waiting for my video before I do my review. The Milleridge Cottage was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And the food is NUTS it's so freakin ridiculously good! I don't know who said it wasn't good (above) but they're completely 100% wrong. All our guests are still talking about the food and it's almost 9 months later now. I can show you pictures -- it was to die for!

They were superbly professional, the site is just perfect. Gorgeous! You have so many options if you want to be outside or inside. We did our ceremony in the atrium but for CH people went outside. The place is HUGE and we only had just over 100 people, but it still felt warm and friendly. It could fit 300 easily, I think.

I could go on and on... but basically, if you can afford it, book Milleridge Cottage. You will not be at all disappointed, I promise.

If you want to see a few hundred pictures, let me know. We even did our pre-wedding photos on the grounds there and in the village there. Such a great place to go for photos!

Dana (azalia) also got married there a month before me.

Oh, one of the reasons we chose Milleridge is b/c we wanted a buffet option for dinner since my family are all big foodies and they had that option. Honestly, I went to one place -- the Milleridge Cottage -- and booked it on the spot that day. There was no question in my mind as soon as we saw it that it was the perfect place to get married. And it really was! I even loved the Bridal Suite and the stairs. And OMG... my cake!!!!!!!! Anyway, I won't bore anyone else, but it was an amazing wedding.

Your friends are out of their minds!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wouldn't repeat this when you don't know for yourself and haven't tried it because they are so wrong it makes you and them seem incredibly foolish.

The food is better than any 5 star restaurant in Manhattan I've ever been to. Maybe they just ate at the Milleridge Inn or something? Because the wedding food at the Milleridge Cottage was fantastic! They put out a first class spread and can really cater it to your likes and needs.

I am getting married there in January, That place blew me away. I can't wait. Do a search on the Milleridge, there are plenty of details reviews on the Brides Review board.

I've been to a wedding there and I thought the food was amazing! I had the surf and turf for dinner and the CH food was very good.

You don't have anything to worry about!

there are reviews, you just have to look. 'Azailia' just posted a review in the review section of this post... its near the top since its a recent review and she has tons of pictures.

I'm getting married there in December and the food is YUMMY, esp the cocktail food. i love the space, the dance floor, the dance floor etc. im getting married at Christmas and i really liked the ambience there. Go with your instincts if you liked it there.

and springsandra is an excellent 'live' review, even though she didn't write her official review yet... she'll answer anything specific you have about the Cottage.
