So, you may or may not remember that a few months ago I posted at night about being very depressed, feeling like I had no friends, feeling isolated, etc. I think a lot of it had to do w/the fact that a few years ago I had a falling out w/some other girls, but that is neither here nor there. I remember that the post spawned like 15 pages of discussion from other girls who felt the same way! Anyhow, I was just sitting here thinking that I really no longer feel that way too often anymore. I guess I've made some sort of peace with the fact that having few friends is better than having tons of 'going-out' acquaintances. But I think a huge part of the reason is that I have YOU girls on here (the day shift and the night shift!) to either listen to venting, talk about wedding stuff, gossip, distract me from problems, etc. I really appreciate everyone and I feel like you really are friends!!!

Ok enough of that emotional stuff, now back to squirrels, dranks, and eggs.

Glad you're feeling better, you can tell by the tone of your posts that you are a good friend to the people who've stuck around and to the ones who've left your life - well, it's their loss.

aw thats so sweet..I feel the same way! and i know how you feel..ive had friends like that too! and i've learned i really appreciate my good friends, which may be few and i don't care about about those who are not true friends

i totally agree.. i love that little icon that says 'i love my computer cuz my friends are in there'... you girls are like another set of friends and i love it!.. i go thought this depression alot.. i only have 3 girl friends from high school that i still keep in contact. 1 is out of state and we rarely see each other but we know we mean to its just hard.. my other firend isee once a week so i keep in contact wit her. and the 3rd friend is in PA school so its really hard with out crazy schedules. But since getting engaged i feel like sometimes i dont have things in common with other girls cuz their going out doing the club/drinking thing and i just cant a. afford it and b. dont really want to anymore so its hard.

Since starting school i have made 4 of the most amazing friends and i think we will be 'grown-up' firends together they are all in the same crappy boat of nursing school, planning weddings, dealing with stupid boyfriends, spending endless hours talking about poop and vomit (nursing school) so im VERY greatfull for my school friends i dont know what id do with out them! I feel the same way about you girls i dont know what id do with out you to b!tch and moan to about all this wedding stuff and not hear 'STOP TALKING ABOUT THE WEDDInG'

too funny i'm thinking she could be serious i saw a girl rolling through the mall a few weeks ago with a herd of squirrels following her. could it be???

I'm glad you are feeling better!!! A few months ago I was really feeling crappy because I realized that I don't keep in touch with anyone from college, even my roommate whose house I lived at for a few months. It really made me sad that I was that close with someone and we didn't really stay friends. She's invited to my wedding, but I doubt she'll come. A few years ago she would have been one of my bridesmaids. Its hard but I can't be the only one working for a friendship. I'm glad that you girls are here, you always listen and make me laugh!!

OMG I have a mixer, and I JUST got silicone bakeware in the mail today. OMG its awesome. I made muffins and they require no greasing, no paper cups, etc.
