For those of you who do not have on fake nails, do you plan on putting some on for your wedding? I am unsure of this. My nails usually grow long and I can get a manicure on them but what if they break? What are you ladies doing?

Re: ladies
I like just a natural manicure on my short nails. Maybe a french...

I dont wear fake nails but, thats the only way nailpolish would stay on my nails. My nails chip with in hours or by water touch, I hate it. I heard of some gel thing they can do on your nails. Im gonna check it out before the wedding and decide on if I like it.
RIGHT before you put the polish on, do you swipe your nails with polish remover? This dries the surface out to help the polish stay on. HTH!

Re: ladies
I really want to try and keep mine natural with a french manicure for the wedding. I'm really nervous for it to chip and I want them to look nice the day of. Plus I didnt want to get fake nails since they ruin your natural nail but it would last the longest for the wedding and HM. I'm just going to keep up with weekly manicures and see how long it all lasts

Re: ladies
Going with my own nails, which are pretty long and healthy, but I will have an emergency acrylic set. I'm able to do my own, so if I have to replace one, I'll do it!

Good girl just have them manicured & be careful. However, i do suggest getting your own cutters & files & buffers. I dont share anything i have all of my own equipment its safer.

My nails are natural and grow really long. I use Sally Hansens Hard as Nails. It's a clear polish and I put some on about twice a week. I get manicures for special occasions. But, I plan on keeping my nails natural and getting a french manicure or a light pinkish / white color. I used to have fake nails and they damage your nails so bad. It took so long for me to grow and make my nails strong and healthy again.

I do the same. My Aunt got hepetitis (the bad one) from nail salons. How gross is that?

i like the natural look. you should use nailtiques to prevent them from breaking. i use it about once or twice a week and it's great
