Ladies do you think that...

...if my FI weres a white tux and the guys were black tuxes that it would look ok in pics?

My FH really wants to wear a white tux. I told him to wear black b/c it looks so much better with my dress.

keep in mind a white tux is hard to keep clean and only looks good on some people.

But no, I don't think it would look bad. I would have the others in white vests and ties though.

I dont think It would look bad, but I pesonally dont like the ALL white tuxs.

How about the ones that are both black and white???

My FI has thought about wearing a white tux too.... He is not sure yet because he doesn't know if it will look good on him though.

If he likes the look of the white tux, then I may let him wear it... I would like to see pictures though...maybe we should post something on the BHB board for pics of white tuxes...hmmm...

my BIL also wore that at his wedding and it looked good....

personally I don't think an all-white tux will look as good when you look at the pics in 25-30 years....it's a little TOO trendy, but if he can pull it off and you BOTH like it, let him do it.

Yes a white tux does stand more of a chance of getting dirty. If you would like to distinguish your FH from his bridal party, then you can have him wear a different tie and/or vest from his groomsmen.

My FH is wearing a white vest and long tie while his groomsmen will be wearing the same ties and vests but in black. We are having a formal wedding and this is what we have seen at formal weddings in the past. Technically, FH and the men should be wearing tails but they are all the size of football players and would be very uncomfy.

A friend of mine got married on a Saturday night and her husband's vest and tie were made from extra fabric from her WHITE wedding dress - she ordered a couple of extra yards. It was very nice. As long as you have a good seamstress who can do that - I think they did.

White tuxes are actually designated to a certain formality of a wedding - possibly Sunday Afternoon formal. I am not sure. You may want to check with your local tux shop to help you out.

I think it would look just fine in the pictures I would just check with the bridal shop what color he should order what type of white. My bridal shop told me that since my dress in diamond white that the guys shirts should be silk white

Lately my FI is totally considering a white jacket (black pants). I'm really not too keen on it, but if he insists and is really into it, then that's fine.

I dont think that it would look that bad in pics. But unfortunalty you dont stand out as much because now you are not the only one wearing white.

I love the way it looks when the guy is alone in a pic (like Jola's pic). In the other pic with the bride it kinda gets distracting and with BP pics I think it will be too much contrast from the GM. Sorry my votes against it.
