Ladies getting ready in a hotel...Question?...*UPDATE*

I just stupidly realized that checkout at the hotel Im getting ready at is 12pm....we wont be finishing getting ready by 1:30-2:00 the latest. Is anyone else in this situation? Is the hotel allowing you to stay past checkout hours? I just realized so now I cant even call the hotel until tomorrow morning.

Update: Got in contact with the hotel. They can only extend until 2:00 without a fee. I may not be done until 3:00 so if we do stay til 3..its a $50 per room charge. Another $200 out of my pocket Im going to try really hard to be out of there beforehand to avoid the fee.

Are you staying at the same hotel/room for the night of the wedding??? Cause then you wont have to worry about it until the day after.
I booked a bridal suite for the night of and the day of the wedding so i dont have to worry about having to leave the room until the day after the wedding
If not then call and ask for maybe an extended check out time

Ask the hotel if it can give you extended checkout. Do you have a hotel block there? That could be a bargaining chip, although DH has asked and received extended checkout on non-wedding related trips. Not universally, but frequently.

i think you can call the hotel and ask about a later check out time, they might charge a fee.

I'm going to stay the night before and the night after.

well we blocked about 10 rooms with them and i personally booked 4 for myself and the bridal party to spend the night before and get ready the day of. im not reserving the night of because that'll just be $600 wasted because everyone will be going back home. so im hoping they can extend the hours.

the thing is its the day before memorial day so i dont know if they'll be expecting alot of guests coming in.

hmm maybe i can just check out of 2 instead of the four and everyone can hang out in just two rooms until the limos come.

I'm going through this too. I've booked for the night before and plan on getting ready there. But, check out is at 2pm and the limo is not coming to get me until 3:30. I had to book for the night of just to be sure I had the place. I really don't know what to do. I was going to offer the suite to my MOH for the night of, as a surprise gift for her and her hubby. I may still do that, but I'd really like some other suggestions for how NOT to have to book the room for two nights when I only need it until 4pm the next day.

I would think that everyone would want to hangout together anyways so it will be better

check out of all but 1 room, everyone can put their bags in their cars. Then you just have everyone in the one room getting ready and only have to pay a late fee for that one room.
